Lamps in Nairobi, made in Nairobi.
Most lamps sold in this city arrive in a container. Ours are sculpted, finished and wired a few streets from where you will plug them in — one at a time, in a studio in Nairobi, by people you can actually call.
Pick up free in the CBD, or have it in your hands the same day anywhere in Nairobi for a flat KSh 400. Pay with M-Pesa, or pay the rider at your door once you have seen the lamp lit.

What buying locally actually gets you
- A warranty someone in this city honours. Twelve months on body and wiring, handled from Mfangano Street — not a form emailed to a factory.
- A lamp you can see before paying. Pay on delivery inside Nairobi, or switch it on at the pickup point.
- No waiting on a container. Stock sits in Nairobi, so same-day is ordinary rather than a promotion.
- A replaceable E27 bulb. When the LED eventually goes, you buy a bulb down the road — not a new lamp.
Buying a lamp in Nairobi — common questions
- Where can I buy lamps in Nairobi?
- Directly from our studio's pickup point at Travis Business Center, 3rd Floor Room A3, Mfangano Street, Nairobi CBD — Same building as Quickmart Mfangano, behind Afya Center. Order on the site or over WhatsApp and the lamp is usually ready the same day or the next. Elsewhere in the city the common options are the lighting shops along Kirinyaga Road, the furniture and decor stores in Westlands and along Mombasa Road, and the marketplaces — Jumia, Jiji, Kilimall — for imported stock.
- Is there a lamp shop near me in Nairobi?
- We are a studio rather than a showroom floor, so the honest answer is that we are near you by delivery rather than by address. The pickup point is in the CBD on Mfangano Street, and we deliver anywhere in Nairobi the same day for a flat KSh 400 — Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Runda, South B and C, Donholm, Embakasi, Ruaka, Rongai and everywhere between. Send your location on WhatsApp and we will tell you the earliest we can be there.
- Do you deliver the same day in Nairobi?
- Yes, for orders placed before early afternoon on a working day. Delivery is a flat KSh 400 anywhere in the city. Outside Nairobi it is the same fee and typically one to two days by courier.
- Can I see the lamp before I pay?
- Inside Nairobi, yes — pay on delivery is available, so you can look at the lamp, switch it on, and pay the rider once you are happy. At the CBD pickup point you can also see it lit before you take it home.
- How much do lamps cost in Nairobi?
- Ours run KSh 2,500 to KSh 6,499, with a warm 2700K dimmable LED already fitted and a 12-month warranty on body and wiring. Across the city you will see moulded imports from about KSh 1,500 with the bulb sold separately, and imported designer lighting from around KSh 20,000. There is a full breakdown on our lamp prices page.
- What are your opening hours?
- Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 17:00. Closed Sunday. WhatsApp messages are answered outside those hours too — we just cannot hand a lamp over until the pickup point opens.
